Turn on two-step sign-in

Two-step asks for a code from an app on your phone. Then no one else can open your shop.

  1. Get a free authenticator app, like Google Authenticator.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Tap Two-step sign-in.
  4. Tap Set up two-step.
  5. Scan the code with the authenticator app.
  6. Type the 6-digit code it shows.
  7. Tap Switch on two-step.
  8. Write down your recovery codes. Tap I have saved them.

If it stops you

That code isn’t right: codes change every 30 seconds. Type the newest one.

Lost your phone? Tap Lost your phone? Use a recovery code when you sign in.

Good to know

  • Only the shop admin's sign-in uses two-step. Staff are not affected.
